Katherine is an experienced Partner, with a particular focus on the application of competition law to new technologies and business models.
Katherine represents clients before UK and EU Competition Regulators and is currently advising a leading payments company in the first Competition Act investigation by the Payments Systems Regulator and a global client on the Competition and Markets Authority’s Digital Advertising market study. Her recent merger control experience includes several tech/platform mergers, amongst them the Phase II clearance of Nielsen/Ebiquity in November 2018.
Katherine advises across the full range of competition law and specialises in assessing the competition law and regulatory compliance of clients’ commercial arrangements – including around new technologies such as the Internet of Things, AI and data driven business models. She is also experienced in competition litigation and implementing bespoke compliance programs.
Katherine spent seven months on secondment at Vodafone Group plc in 2016/17 and so has an in-depth understanding of telecoms and connected markets.
Katherine is ranked in the Legal 500 and is a member of the Law Society Competition Group and Procurement Lawyers’ Association. She has been named in Who’s Who International’s “Future Leaders of Competition” for the last three years.”
