Fleur Herrenschmidt

Head Legal Region Europe, Novartis Pharma AG

Fleur has over 20 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical sector, starting her career as a lawyer in private practice, in international law firms, before moving in-house. She joined Novartis in 2013 as Senior Legal Counsel responsible for the region Europe Middle East Africa (EMEA) in the Corporate Group Antitrust Team. Expanding her practice beyond competition law, Fleur moved to the Global Product and Portfolio Strategy team as Senior Legal Counsel in 2018, providing worldwide support to the Ophthalmology Franchise. She was appointed Head Legal Region Europe Pharma in July 2019.

Fleur is a French-bar qualified lawyer and holds LLMs from the London School of Economics (LSE, London) and from the College of Europe (Bruges) and a D.E.S.S. from the University of Nanterre-Paris X. Before that, she studied French and Anglo-American business law.
