Philippe Croene is Head of Antitrust Support for Green Traditional Refining & Marketing, Support Functions and International Networking at Eni SpA in Rome. In this role, he daily advises internal functions on all aspects of competition law and merger control rules relating to specific business initiatives and supports the implementation and continuous update of the company’s antitrust compliance program. Before joining Eni in 2017, he spent more than ten years in private practice at Cleary Gottlieb offices in Rome, mainly focusing on different aspects of competition law, as well as on regulatory issues in several business sectors and on unfair commercial practices and misleading advertising, while also gaining significant experience in civil and administrative litigation as a member of the Rome bar. Philippe is currently also Chair of ICLA’s Italy chapter.
