Parallel session
Detection of killer acquisitions
Managed by Lear
Effective regulation in highly innovative industries has become a matter of intense regulatory interest in recent years, given the possibility that nascent competitors may be acquired by larger, consolidated market participants before they achieve sufficient turnover to trigger regulatory review. This session leverages the most recent academic contributions and the experience of National Competition Authorities to discuss the challenges posed by killer acquisitions and the tools that competition enforcement may put in place to tackle them.
