Claudia D’Amore
Officer, Directorate General for Competition – Italian Competition Authority
Claudia D’Amore is an officer of the Italian Competition Authority (ICA), where she is Responsible for coordinating procedures and multisectoral advocacy at the Directorate General for Competition.
Claudia D’Amore joined the ICA in February 2009. She worked at the Directorate General for Consumer Protection – Energy and Industry (2009-2011), the Directorate General for Competition – Communications (2012), the Directorate of Legal Affairs and Litigation (2012-2017) and the Directorate General for Competition (2017 – ongoing).
Previously, she practiced several years as a lawyer in major international (Cleary Gottlieb Steen and Hamilton, Brussels) and national (Libertini & Associates, Rome) law firms.
In 2003 she was admitted to the Italian Bar.
Ms. D’Amore graduated in law with honours at LUISS – Guido Carli University of Rome, obtained an LL.M. in European Law from King’s College London and a PhD in Competition Law from the University of Perugia.
She is lecturer of competition law in various Italian Universities and published several articles on competition and administrative law.
