Walking tour – Janiculum
At the end of the second day, you will have the opportunity to discover the hill with the most beautiful views of Rome. Here there are splendid fountains, artists’ houses, and evidence of ancient Rome.
Meeting point: 6 pm at “WeGil”, Largo Ascianghi 5.
Among the main attractions: Janiculum lookout (the best terrace to appreciate the panorama of Rome), monument of Giuseppe Garibaldi, house of Michelangelo, Porta S. Pancrazio, Fontana Paola (the spectacular fountain built to celebrate the arrival of Acqua Paola in Rome), S. Pietro in Montorio (a wonderful Renaissance church with the temple of Bramante.
Tour end: 7 p.m. at via di porta Settimiana.
