Alexandre Glatz assists clients in all areas of economic law with in-depth expertise in competition law, selective distribution and commercial litigation.
Alexandre was involved in many of the most significant selective distribution cases in the Retail Sector (notably the “Perfume case”, the “Toys case” and the “Dermo-cosmetics case”). He is assisting clients in all sectors (Automotive and Transportation, Energy and Utilities, Life Science and Healthcare…) with a particular focus on physical Retail as well as in the Technologies, Media and E-commerce businesses.
He regularly assists clients during dawn raids and anti-trust or commercial litigation or for merger control filings. His expertise includes cartel damage claim follow-on private enforcement expertise.
Prior to joining Osborne Clarke, Alexandre has worked in the European and Economic Law practice at Gide since 2000. He spent five years working at International offices.
In addition to his Doctorate in European Law, he holds a Master degree in Private Law (University of Paris II – Panthéon Assas, 2001). Alexandre was called to the Paris Bar in 2003.
He was President of the International Young Lawyers Association (AIJA) Distribution Law Commission and is an active member of the Association des avocats Pratiquant le Droit de la Concurrence (APDC) and the Association Française d’Etudes de la Concurrence (AFEC).
