Philippe Croene is Head of Antitrust Support for Green Traditional Refining & Marketing, Support Functions and International Networking at Eni SpA in Rome. In this role, he advises internal functions on all aspects of competition law and merger control rules at a global level and supports the implementation and continuous update of the company’s antitrust compliance program. Before joining Eni in 2017, he spent more than ten years in private practice at Cleary Gottlieb offices in Rome, where he mainly focused on different aspects of competition law and consumer law, as well as on regulatory issues in several business sectors, while also gaining experience in civil and administrative litigation as a member of the Rome bar. Philippe is currently also Chair of ICLA’s Italy chapter.
