Lucio D’Amario is a partner based in our Milan office and heads Linklaters’ Italian Antitrust & Foreign Investment practice.
Lucio holds a M.Jur from Oxford University and has extensive expertise in all aspects of EU and Italian competition law, with a focus on anticompetitive agreements, abuses of dominant position and merger control. Lucio also regularly advises on foreign investment control proceedings in Italy.
He regularly represents clients before the Italian Competition Authority and the Italian administrative and civil Courts, as well as before the Italian Presidency of Council of Ministers. Lucio also frequently acts before the European Commission as well as the General Court and the Court of Justice in Luxembourg.
His experience extends to a number of different sectors, including aerospace and defence, consumer goods, financial services, oil and energy, insurance, pharmaceuticals, TMT, and the tobacco industry.
