Marilena Filippelli

Marilena Filippelli is an Associate Professor of Business Law at the School of Law, Sapienza University of Rome, Italy. She specializes in Corporate and Business Law, as well as Intellectual Property Rights and Competition Law.

Prof. Filippelli earned her Ph.D. in Economics, Markets, and Institutions from the IMT Institute for Advanced Studies in Lucca, Italy, graduating with full marks. She has held visiting scholar positions at prestigious institutions, including New York Law School, Tilburg University, National University of Singapore and Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Her extensive research focuses on competition law and corporate governance.

She is an active member of several academic societies and editorial boards, contributing to leading journals in business law and competition law.
