Mr. Dany Verzeele studied law at the University of Gent, graduating in 1983 with a Master in Law, specializing in transport and maritime law. From 1983 to 1984, he completed compulsory military service in the Belgian Navy, serving as an officer with the rank of lieutenant at sea.
In 2010, he furthered his education by graduating with a Master in Business Management from the Vlerick Business School in Gent.
Professionally, he worked as a jurist at Ostend Freight Lines from 1984 to 1986, then at the community of Bruges from 1986 to 1996. Since 1996, he has been the Legal Manager at ECS Zeebrugge, a position he has held until 2024.
