Malcolm Tiffin-Richards

Malcolm Tiffin-Richards is an in-house counsel in the Competition and Compliance Department at METRO AG. In this role, he specializes in competition law, handling cases related to follow-on damages litigation, merger control, and competition law compliance. He is German qualified and admitted to the Duesseldorf bar.

Prior to joining METRO AG, he worked at the German federal agencies, the Bundeskartellamt (German Federal Cartel Office), in the decision division dealing with e-commerce platforms, and the Federal Office of Justice, in the enforcement of social media platform regulation.

Malcolm Tiffin-Richards began his career as an associate in the competition law department of the law firm Hengeler Mueller, where he advised on multinational follow-on damages litigation, cartel proceedings and multiple phase two merger control cases.
