Cross-border competition law enforcement from the viewpoint of developing countries

The increasing interconnection of economies and globalization call for more importance of addressing and reviewing anticompetitive practices and mergers which may have cross-border effects on competition. Some competition authorities of developing countries have been very active in cross-border competition law enforcement, while dealing with their specific challenges.
In this session, representatives from 3 competition authorities from different regions will share their experiences in handling specific cross-border cases, touching upon aspects investigation tools, merger control, international and regional cooperation and best practices and recommendations in cross-border enforcement from their points of view.
