Jennifer Dixton is an Assistant Chief in the Competition Policy & Advocacy Section and Special Counsel for Policy & Intellectual Property, United States Department of Justice, Antitrust Division. Ms. Dixton joined the Division in 2004, where she also has worked as a Trial Attorney and Attorney Advisor on a variety of civil and criminal antitrust investigations and policy and appellate matters. Ms. Dixton currently focuses on matters involving the intersection of antitrust and intellectual property rights, as well as on antitrust compliance. Ms. Dixton was awarded the Assistant Attorney General’s Award of Distinction in 2021 for her work on the COVID-19 antitrust advising team. In addition, she was awarded the Assistant Attorney General’s Award of Distinction in 2012 and the Internal Revenue Service Excellence Award in 2014 for her work on the municipal bond investigation.
Ms. Dixton also is an adjunct lecturer and teaches a course on the intersection of antitrust and intellectual property.
